SwitchBot launches Battery-Powered Smart Fan with 70‑hour runtime and native Matter support

SwitchBot has introduced the Battery Circulator Fan 2 Pro, a portable tabletop fan that runs on a rechargeable 3,600 mAh battery for up to 70 hours at low speed and about four hours at maximum power. The fan can also be powered from an AC source or a USB‑C power bank, and it charges in roughly ten hours via the included charger.

The device natively supports the Matter smart‑home standard over Wi‑Fi, allowing direct integration with Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Home Assistant and other ecosystems without a SwitchBot hub. It can be controlled through the SwitchBot app or voice assistants, offering speed control from 1 % to 100 %, oscillation up to 90°, a built‑in fragrance box for essential oils, and an optional night‑light. The fan pushes air up to 6.5 m ⁄ s and reaches a distance of about 110 ft, with noise levels ranging from 21 to 54 dB.

Priced at $119.99 for the North American market, the Fan 2 Pro is being promoted in Europe, with coverage in Italy and the United Kingdom.
