SwitchBot launches RGBICWW Light Bars with Matter support

SwitchBot has launched the RGBICWW Light Bars, a smart lighting set designed for gaming, office work, and entertainment. The product features two light bars that utilize RGBIC technology, allowing for 12 independently controllable color zones across the set. This enables complex color gradients and 16 million color options, alongside 26 dynamic lighting effects.

A key technical feature is the native support for Matter over Wi-Fi, which allows the bars to integrate directly into smart home ecosystems like Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Samsung SmartThings without the need for a dedicated SwitchBot hub. The bars also include dedicated LEDs for functional white light, with adjustable color temperatures ranging from 2200K to 6500K and a combined brightness of up to 800 lumens.

Additional features include a built-in microphone for music-reactive lighting modes and an API that allows AI agents to communicate status through light changes. The hardware is designed for versatile mounting via magnets, adhesive surfaces, or stands. The product was released in late September 2026 with an initial retail price of approximately 55.99 Euro, though introductory discounts have been noted.
