SwitchBot Lock Ultra converts traditional locks into smart locks

The SwitchBot Lock Ultra is designed to convert traditional door locks into advanced smart locks without requiring a complete disassembly of the existing hardware. The device can be mounted on the outside of a lock to turn a key or attached to an interior door handle using included adapters. It is secured to the lock edge using small screws.

According to SwitchBot, the solution is compatible with over 99 percent of doors. The lock can be operated via a mobile app using Bluetooth, providing rapid response times. For remote internet access, such as allowing entry for service workers while away, a separate hub is required. The device features a built-in battery lasting up to nine months, along with a backup solution that allows continued use during charging.
