Switzerland offers a diverse range of cultural and natural attractions, spanning from major urban centers to the Alpine landscape.

Geneva, located on Lake Geneva near the French border, serves as a global diplomatic hub. Known as the ‘City of Peace,’ it hosts the European headquarters of the United Nations and over 40 international organizations. The city is characterized by landmarks such as the Jet d’Eau, the historic Old Town, and Saint-Pierre Cathedral, alongside a heritage of watchmaking and local viticulture.

Zurich, the country’s largest city, features historical sites like the Lindenhof and the Polybahn funicular. The city is also noted for its scientific history at ETH Zurich and its chocolate industry. Beyond the urban areas, the Swiss landscape is defined by the Alps, which cover 60% of the country, and more than 1,500 lakes, including Lake Lucerne.
