Switzerland hosts diverse art and architecture exhibitions in 2026

Several major art and architecture exhibitions are scheduled across Switzerland for late 2026.

At the Musée Cantonal des Beaux-Arts in Lausanne, Lucas Erindé will present a new body of work exploring the relationship between gardens, climate variations, and cultural heritage through installation, sculpture, and sound.

The Kunstmuseum St. Gallen Lokremise will host Emilija Škarnulyte’s “Arrow of Time,” an immersive exhibition using film and light to explore the intersection of technology, political history, and planetary time, featuring footage from the decommissioned Ignalina nuclear power plant in Lithuania.

In Langenthal, the Kunsthaus Langenthal will hold the first Swiss institutional solo exhibition for painter Gritli Faulhaber, showcasing large-format collage paintings and works exploring “Crip Time.”

Additionally, the Museum im Bellpark in Kriens will feature an exhibition on the Fotostudio Frei, an early significant project by the architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron, tracing the building’s history and transformation over four decades.
