Switzerland weather forecast: Sunny conditions and warmth

Switzerland is experiencing a strong southwest flow. A low-pressure system centered over the British Isles is moving a warm front just north of the country toward the west, leading to stabilized and moistened upper air layers.

On Saturday, the weather is expected to be predominantly sunny. In the German-speaking part of Switzerland, local fog may appear in the Mittelland during the morning, with some cloud cover developing over the mountains in the afternoon. Temperatures in the lowlands are expected to reach approximately 24 degrees Celsius. In Western Switzerland and Valais, conditions will be mostly sunny with temperatures around 25 degrees Celsius in the lowlands.

The Engadin region will see mostly sunny conditions with afternoon temperatures reaching 28 degrees Celsius in the lowlands and 20 degrees Celsius in the Upper Engadin. Looking ahead, Sunday is expected to bring drier air, followed by a weakly active cold front moving from west to east on Monday.
