Swys de Bruin resigns as Springbok Women head coach

Swys de Bruin has resigned from his position as head coach of the Springbok Women. The departure follows reported tensions between de Bruin and SA Rugby, occurring at a critical juncture as the team prepares for upcoming competitions and the Rugby World Cup.

In response to the leadership change, the Springbok Women have named their squad for an upcoming historic Test match against the Black Ferns at FNB Stadium. Laurian Johannes-Haupt and Franzel September will continue as co-head coaches to lead the team. Babalwa Latsha has been named captain for the encounter.
