SX Global terminates 2026 FIM World Supercross Championship season

Promoter SX Global has announced the immediate termination of the 2026 FIM World Supercross Championship season. Following the cancellation of a previously scheduled race in Birmingham, United Kingdom, the championship has concluded with only one Grand Prix held this year in Calgary, Canada.

SX Global stated that the decision was difficult but noted that they are currently in discussions with potential investors regarding the future of the series. The promoter expressed optimism that these talks will establish a solid foundation for the championship's future, though no specific details regarding a potential restart or structural changes have been released.
