SxxxAI platform launches customizable AI girlfriend service

A new platform called SxxxAI, launched in early September, allows users aged 18 and older to create customized virtual girlfriends. Users can define the character's appearance, personality, backstory, and intimate behaviors. While character creation is free, interacting with the AI and generating personalized photos or videos requires a monthly subscription ranging from 1 to 99 dollars.

A company spokesperson stated that the service is intended for entertainment and creative interaction rather than as a replacement for real-world relationships. The platform offers different tiers, such as a 1 dollar plan for up to 10 characters and a 99 dollar elite plan for up to 50 characters.

Recent studies highlight growing interest in AI companionship. A Talker Research survey of 2,000 American adults found that 27 percent of Generation Z has engaged in romantic or suggestive conversations with chatbots. Additionally, a 2024 survey by the Institute for Family Studies and YouGov indicated that 25 percent of Americans under 40 believe AI could eventually replace human romantic relationships.
