Syafinaz Selamat appointed Honorary Adjunct Professor at UPSI

Datuk Syafinaz Selamat has been appointed as an Honorary Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI). This second term appointment will be effective for two years, spanning from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2028.

In addition to her academic role at UPSI, Syafinaz serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the National Academy of Arts, Culture and Heritage (ASWARA) for a term running from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2028. Her appointment at UPSI is intended to allow her to share her extensive industry expertise in vocal techniques and music performance with students and the academic community.
