Syahrini returns to music stage after six-year hiatus

Indonesian singer Syahrini has officially returned to the entertainment stage following a six-year hiatus. Her comeback performance took place during the 36th anniversary celebration of SCTV on August 24, 2026, at the Emtek building in West Jakarta.

During her absence, Syahrini focused on her family, including navigating the Covid-19 pandemic, pregnancy, and raising her child. She stated that she feels now is the right time to resume her career, noting that her professional priorities have shifted to balance her work with her responsibilities as a mother and wife.

A highlight of her return was a collaboration with singer Lesti Kejora, where the two performed traditional Sundanese songs. Syahrini also recently released a new single titled ‘Kau Yang Utama’, a collaboration with Dee Lestari and Andi Rianto.
