Sydie Peck scores hat-trick as Sheffield United defeat Preston North End

Sydie Peck scored a first-half hat-trick to lead Sheffield United to a 3-2 victory over Preston North End at Deepdale. Despite Preston taking an early lead through Leo Leroy in the second minute, Peck equalized in the 27th minute and added two more goals before halftime to secure the win.

Following the performance, Sheffield United is reportedly looking to offer the 22-year-old midfielder a new contract to protect his value and fend off potential interest from other clubs. Peck, who is currently under contract until 2028, has become a key player for manager Chris Wilder, recording four goals and three assists in 16 appearances this season.

The win moves Sheffield United to 9th in the Championship table, placing them just outside the play-off positions on goal difference.
