Sydney FC keeps finals hopes alive with late win over Rockdale Ilinden

Sydney FC kept their hopes for a Top Six finish and a place in the finals alive with a 2-1 victory over Rockdale Ilinden in Round 29 of the NPL Men's NSW.

After a scoreless first half, Zac Fowler put Sydney FC ahead early in the second half. Rockdale substitute Lochlan Constable equalized in the 85th minute, but Sydney FC captain Mitchell Glasson secured the win with a stoppage-time goal in the 93rd minute. The result leaves Rockdale's chances of reaching the finals largely extinguished.
