Sydney police investigate multiple stabbings and home invasion

Police in Sydney are investigating a series of violent incidents across the city, including multiple stabbings and a targeted home invasion.

In Canterbury, three men—aged 18, 23, and 24—were hospitalized following an alleged altercation outside a kebab shop on Canterbury Road. Two of the men are in serious but stable condition, while the third remains stable. Detective Chief Superintendent Christine McDonald noted that the 24-year-old and 18-year-old were related and arrived at the scene together before the incident.

In Bidwill, a 38-year-old man is in critical condition after being found with a stab wound to the stomach at Moreton Bay Square. Police reported that a group of approximately 10 people attempted to interfere with the investigation at the scene.

Additionally, a targeted home invasion was reported in Guildford West, where eight men allegedly forced entry into a unit on Fairfield Road. A 42-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman were assaulted during the incident and taken to Westmead Hospital.

In a separate incident in Five Dock, a 19-year-old was hospitalized after a stabbing allegedly linked to a debt collection attempt involving his 63-year-old father.
