Sydney property auctions see Coogee semi sell for $2.5 million

The property, located at 5 Ritchard Avenue, features a swimming pool and a lockup garage. The sale was driven by an upsizing couple moving from a local apartment.

In the broader Sydney market, 709 properties were scheduled for auction last week. Domain reported a preliminary auction clearance rate of 57 per cent based on 433 results, while 125 auctions were withdrawn.

Other notable sales included a three-bedroom apartment in Cremorne, which sold for $3.5 million. Real estate professionals noted that while some sellers remain hesitant due to marketing costs and market uncertainty, properties with renovation potential continue to attract buyers.
