Sydney Roosters secure dual NRL and NRLW premierships

NRLW grand final Sydney Roosters Brisbane Broncos NRL premiership rugby league

The Sydney Roosters achieved a historic dual premiership, winning both the NRL and NRLW titles. In the NRLW grand final, the Roosters completed an undefeated 13-0 season by defeating the Brisbane Broncos 30-6 at Accor Stadium. Brydie Parker led the scoring with a hat-trick, contributing to a dominant first half where the Roosters held a 26-0 lead. The victory served as revenge for the Broncos' win in last year's decider and provided a farewell for retiring stars Corban Baxter and Millie Elliott.

Following the dual victories, thousands of fans gathered at the Sydney Cricket Ground for a premiership parade to celebrate the club's achievements. This marked the first time in the club's history that both the men's and women's teams secured grand final wins in the same year. The men's team secured their 16th title, while the women's team claimed their third premiership.
