SYFAK Conference to address pharmacy and AI in Heraklion

The 13th SYFAK Conference, titled ‘Pharmacy: Health, Beauty & Wellness Services in the AI Era,’ is scheduled to take place on September 12 and 13, 2026, at the Atlantis Hotel in Heraklion, Crete.

Organized by the Cooperative of Pharmacists of the Aegean & Crete and the Hellenic Pharmaceutical Company, under the auspices of the Panhellenic Pharmaceutical Association, the event aims to promote professional development and interdisciplinary cooperation among healthcare professionals. The scientific committee is chaired by Konstantinos Demetzos, Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology & Nanotechnology at NKPA.

The program includes eight roundtables and five scientific lectures. Key topics include the transition to bio-programmable therapies, the role of the pharmacy in the age of biologics, pharmacy branding, and self-care in the era of ChatGPT. The opening lecture, ‘Approach to Lifestyle Medicine: Starting from the Pharmacy,’ will be delivered by Professor Ioanna Chinou.
