Syfe launches Yield+ investment portfolio in Hong Kong
Singapore-based digital wealth platform Syfe has introduced Yield+ (閒錢寶) in Hong Kong, a Hong Kong dollar investment portfolio designed for mid-term savings. The product targets a projected net annual yield of 4.71%, aiming to outperform Hong Kong’s headline inflation rate of 1.7%.
Yield+ is intended for funds that investors do not require for at least 12 months. It features no lock-in periods and no minimum investment requirements. The portfolio maintains an average duration of approximately one year by investing in three actively managed short-duration bond funds: Taikang Kaitai Overseas Short Tenor Bond fund (40%), Amundi Funds – US Short Term Bond (30%), and Aberdeen SICAV I – Short Dated Enhanced Income fund (30%).
According to Ritesh Ganeriwal, Syfe’s managing director and group head of investment and advisory, the product aims to bridge the gap between immediate cash needs and long-term retirement goals by managing the price volatility often associated with longer-dated bonds. Yield+ joins Syfe’s existing Hong Kong suite, which includes Cash+ Flexi and Cash+ Fixed.
