Syfy cancels supernatural drama Revival after one season

Syfy has confirmed the cancellation of the supernatural mystery series Revival after its first season. Sources from Syfy and distributor Dynamic Television verified that the show will not return for a second season.

Based on the Image Comics series by Tim Seeley and Mike Norton, the show follows a murder investigation in rural Wisconsin involving deceased residents who have returned to life. The series stars Melanie Scrofano as Dana Cypress, a police officer investigating crimes amidst the supernatural event.

While the first season recently became available on Netflix, this move does not include an order for additional episodes. The cancellation leaves The Ark as the only ongoing original series currently identified for the network.
