Sylvester Stallone rejects retirement plans at age 80
Actor Sylvester Stallone has stated that he has no intention of retiring, despite being 80 years old. Speaking to the Deutsche Presse-Agentur in London, Stallone explained that his drive to work is part of his nature, comparing his need for a task to that of a working dog.
Stallone recently released his memoirs, titled ‘The Steps’. He is also set to appear in the fourth season of the series ‘Tulsa King’ on Paramount+, where he portrays the character Dwight Manfredi.
Reflecting on his career, the actor noted that he is more at peace now than in the past because he no longer engages in competition with others. He mentioned that in the 1980s, he felt significant pressure due to competition with peers like Arnold Schwarzenegger, but he now finds himself more relaxed.
