Sylvinho explains departure from Albania national team

Former Albania national team coach Sylvinho has addressed his departure from the team, describing it as the natural conclusion of a cycle. He stated that both the technical staff and the Albanian Football Association had grown significantly during their tenure, reaching a point where there was little more to add.

Sylvinho noted that the decision to end the partnership was discussed in advance with FSHF President Armando Duka. He praised Duka as an intelligent leader and characterized their professional relationship as positive and collaborative, emphasizing that the separation was not due to conflict but rather a mutual agreement that the project had reached its end.

Reflecting on his experience, Sylvinho compared the responsibility of managing Albania to his previous role as an assistant with the Brazilian national team during the 2022 World Cup, noting that in Albania, he held full responsibility for the project. He expressed pride in building an organized and difficult team to play against.
