Sylwia Peretti opens up about estranged father of late son Patryk

Polish media personality Sylwia Peretti said on Julia Izmałkowa’s “Matcha Talks” podcast that she does not wish to discuss the father of her deceased son Patryk, referring to him as a private individual. She explained that the father briefly visited her home years after the tragedy “to make sure it was true” but that they have had no contact for many years.

Peretti recalled Patryk’s death in a July 2023 car crash in Krakow, in which the 24‑year‑old was driving at high speed, had a blood‑alcohol level above 2.3 ‰, and the vehicle overturned. She also thanked a stranger who returned a bracelet Patryk had left with another person, describing it as “a fragment of his life”. The interview highlighted the ongoing grief she endures and her desire to keep the father’s privacy out of public debate.
