SYM launches ECHS 125 scooter with advanced electronics

Taiwanese manufacturer SYM has released the ECHS 125, an entry-level scooter priced at 2,199 euros in France and 1,999 euros in Germany. Despite its low price point, the model includes electronic features typically found in more expensive machines, such as traction control (TCS) and single-channel ABS on the front wheel.

Other standard equipment includes dual LED headlights, an LCD screen, keyless start, and a reinforced luggage rack. The scooter is designed for urban and peri-urban commuting, featuring a storage compartment under the seat capable of holding two full-face helmets along with gloves and rain gear. While it features modern electronics, the rear brake utilizes a traditional cable-operated drum system.
