Synerise Arena in Kraków expands into multi-purpose cultural hub
Synerise Arena in Kraków, formerly known as Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium, is transitioning into a multi-purpose venue for cultural, entertainment, and business events. This strategic shift aims to maximize the facility's potential and attract diverse audiences beyond traditional sports fans.
A recent milestone for the venue was a concert by the artist sanah, which drew 40,000 spectators. The event required complex technical coordination regarding crowd movement, evacuation, and infrastructure use, involving cooperation between DM Agency, the Sports Infrastructure Board, and the Wisła Kraków club. The lessons learned from this large-scale production will serve as a model for future events.
The number of non-sporting events is increasing significantly, rising from 12 in 2024 to a projected 31 in 2025. To improve profitability, the stadium has introduced a title sponsor, Synerise, opened the R22 restaurant, and is expanding its offerings for office, warehouse, and skybox rentals. Additionally, modernization of lighting systems is underway to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
