Syngenta appoints Eladio Robles as India Managing Director

Syngenta announced that Eladio Robles will serve as Country Head and Managing Director of its India operations, effective August 3, 2026. Robles brings more than 20 years of global leadership experience, having overseen production and supply for Africa, the Middle East and Asia and holding several senior roles within Syngenta since joining the company in 2004.

He said Syngenta India has become the market‑leading crop‑protection firm in the country and that the next phase will focus on accelerating innovation, expanding the portfolio of breakthrough molecules such as PLINAZOLIN®, ADEPIDYN® and TYMIRIUM®, and growing biological solutions to address climate‑related challenges, pest resistance and resource efficiency while deepening sustainability and operational excellence.
