In Spain, the biotechnology platform Biovegen and the Sociedad Española de Ciencias Hortícolas (SECH) have established an alliance to facilitate access to biotechnological projects and companies. This partnership aims to benefit over 400 scientists and technical experts. The collaboration follows the approval of new European regulations regarding New Genomic Techniques (NGTs) and includes a joint calendar of actions scheduled through 2027 to strengthen research and development within the Spanish horticultural and biotechnological sectors.
