Syria: 13 injured in traffic accidents and multiple fires

Civil defense teams in Syria responded to multiple emergencies over a 24-hour period, including several traffic accidents and fires across various regions.

Reports indicate that 13 people were injured in traffic accidents. Emergency responders provided first aid to the victims before transporting them to hospitals for further treatment. In addition to the accidents, teams responded to 24 fires involving homes, commercial shops, vegetation, and electrical wires. While these fires resulted in material damage, no injuries were reported from the fire incidents.

Civil defense authorities have issued safety reminders to the public, urging drivers to reduce speed, ensure vehicle maintenance, and avoid distractions such as mobile phone use. They also advised against lighting fires in forested or agricultural areas and cautioned against discarding cigarette butts or glass near crops and roadside vegetation.
