Syria and Germany discuss economic and investment cooperation

Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa hosted a roundtable discussion in Damascus to discuss strengthening economic and investment cooperation between Syria and Germany. The meeting included Nils Annen, a representative from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, along with executives from German companies and members of the Syrian-German Business Council.

Key discussions focused on expanding partnership areas and utilizing investment opportunities within Syria, with a specific emphasis on reconstruction projects. Participants also addressed joint projects for Syria’s recovery, the exchange of expertise across various sectors, and the development of knowledge transfer.
