Syria faces surge in ammunition and explosive explosions

Syria has experienced a series of ammunition and explosive-related explosions across various regions over the past month, raising concerns regarding the management of the country's massive military stockpiles and war remnants.

In Idlib, multiple incidents occurred, including an explosion in a home near Jisr al-Shughur that killed three civilians, and a vehicle carrying ammunition in Binnish that caused several casualties. A significant explosion at a temporary collection site near Sarmada resulted in the deaths of 14 Ministry of Defense personnel. Other incidents were reported in Damascus countryside and Deir ez-Zor.

In Aleppo, explosions occurred in the Al-Ais area south of the city. Local authorities, including Aleppo Governor Azzam al-Gharib, issued warnings for residents to remain indoors and avoid the blast sites to ensure public safety while emergency teams respond.
