Syrian national detained in Sidoarjo for immigration violations

The Juanda Immigration Office has detained a Syrian national, identified as FD (alias DW), the owner of Resto 116 in Sidoarjo, East Java. The detention follows allegations of serious immigration violations and the use of forged documents.

Investigations revealed that FD held a Limited Stay Permit (ITAS) with an investor index guaranteed by PT AJG. However, the company address listed in Surabaya was found to be fictitious. Furthermore, authorities discovered that the identity documents of the guarantor, identified as EL, were forged, and the Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) account used for the application was not registered in the banking system.

FD is currently being held in immigration detention as part of administrative immigration actions. Authorities are also coordinating with the East Java Provincial Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office to verify the legitimacy of the company's capital.
