Syros murder: Eyewitness provides key testimony in paramedic death

New eyewitness testimony has emerged regarding the murder of a 41-year-old EKAB paramedic on the island of Syros. An eyewitness reported seeing the 41-year-old suspect positioned over the victim on a staircase, holding her hands while she lay face down in a pool of blood. The witness noted that the victim was still wearing her mask at the time.

The witness further claimed to have seen two knives at the scene: one blood-stained with a bent handle lying near the pair, and a second, larger knife that appeared clean. This contradicts the defense's assertion that the suspect was not carrying knives. The witness also observed that the suspect's right hand was covered in blood.

Prior to the incident, the witness reported hearing loud female screams and a male voice. Authorities are currently investigating digital data and mobile phone records, including the victim's presence on the island approximately one month before the crime, to clarify the circumstances surrounding the fatal attack.
