Syros murder investigation: Judicial council rules stabbing was intentional

New evidence and testimonies have emerged regarding the murder of a 41-year-old paramedic in Syros. The judicial council has ruled that the 40-year-old suspect acted with intent, contradicting his claims of self-defense.

Security footage shows the suspect chasing and immobilizing the victim outside her residence. Investigators noted a lack of bloodstains inside the home, which challenges the suspect's assertion that the stabbing took place indoors.

While initial theories explored robbery or unpaid rent as motives, a friend of the victim suggested the crime might be linked to issues involving the victim's family. Authorities are currently awaiting the analysis of mobile phone data to uncover further details regarding the motive.
