Syros to host motorcycle festival and Mediterranean culinary workshops

The island of Syros is set to host two distinct cultural events in September 2026.

From September 11 to 13, the Syros Rules 2026 motorcycle event will take place. Organized with support from the Syros-Hermoupolis Municipality and various motorcycle clubs, including the Two Wheels Only MotoClub from Naxos and the Syros Moto Club, the three-day festival will feature motorcycle games, a static exhibition at Miaouli Square, tours of Hermoupolis, live music, and gift drawings.

Additionally, from September 11 to 15, the island will host the “Taste Without Borders – Traditional Mediterranean Cuisine & Fusion Workshops” program. Hosted by the Lazaretta Cultural Association, this European initiative brings together mentors and participants from Greece, Italy, and Turkey. The program focuses on exploring Mediterranean culinary heritage through traditional and fusion cooking workshops, aiming to use gastronomy as a bridge for intercultural communication and connection.
