Syroscats seeks volunteers for cat care on Syros island

The animal welfare organization Syroscats is seeking volunteers to assist with cat care on the Greek island of Syros. Interested individuals or couples aged 25 and older can apply for positions running from January to June 2027. The application deadline is September 30, 2026.

In exchange for approximately five hours of work per day, five days a week, the organization provides accommodation, breakfast, and coverage of utility costs. Duties include caring for stray cats and cleaning enclosures. While veterinary experience or studies are highly valued, they are not mandatory; the organization is looking for punctual individuals capable of working independently. Applicants must not have cat allergies.
