Sysco Corporation sees increased institutional investment

Several institutional investors have recently adjusted their positions in Sysco Corporation. Callan Family Office LLC purchased 51,367 shares in the second quarter, valued at approximately $4,293,000. Vise Technologies Inc. also acquired a new position of 21,750 shares during the same period, worth roughly $1,818,000.

Other major movements include BlackRock Inc. acquiring a position valued at approximately $3.59 billion and Norges Bank purchasing shares worth about $542.78 million. Sysco has recently focused on AI transformation initiatives and appointed new board members, including former Amazon executive Jason Murray, to oversee technology and logistics.

Separately, Franco-Nevada reported strong second-quarter results, ending the period with approximately $4.3 billion in available capital and no debt. Despite high cash generation, the company has deployed a smaller fraction of its capital into new streams and royalties compared to its industry competitors.
