System of a Down and Faith No More Hint at Australian Tour

Mysterious light projections featuring the red‑hand motif from System of a Down’s 1998 debut and artwork linked to Faith No More’s first album appeared on a building in Brisbane. The display, set to Faith No More’s song “Epic,” was also reported in Melbourne, Sydney and Wellington, prompting speculation that the two bands are planning shows in Australia.

System of a Down have not performed in Australia since their 2012 Soundwave headline run, while Faith No More’s last Australian appearance was at Soundwave 2015. Both bands have hinted at a 2027 return: bassist Bill Gould confirmed Faith No More’s touring plans include Australia, and System of a Down recently signed a touring partnership with the same Brazilian live‑entertainment company. No official dates, venues or promoters have been announced, and ticketing sites show no listings.

The coordinated projections suggest a joint announcement may be forthcoming, but the details remain unconfirmed.
