SYSTEMEU launches 7.55 million euro fund for digital innovation

The European project SYSTEMEU has launched a call for proposals totaling 7.55 million euros to drive technological transformation and digitalization across key sectors. Part of the Horizon Europe initiative, the program aims to strengthen technological cooperation networks between specific regions.

To qualify, applicants must form international consortia including partners from at least two participating regions. The network includes Bavaria (Germany), Romania, the Tuzla Canton (Bosnia and Herzegovina), the North Region of Portugal, and Castilla y León (Spain).

Selected projects must develop validated prototypes and complete solutions capable of operating in real-world environments. Each consortium can apply for a maximum of 2.2 million euros per project, with an individual limit of 600,000 euros per participating entity. The call remains open until November 16, 2026, and is open to companies, startups, universities, research centers, and public administrations. Projects are expected to have a duration of 15 to 18 months, with implementation beginning in early 2027.
