Russia hit by drone strikes targeting Ozon hubs and civilian centers

Drone attacks have struck several regions in Russia, causing significant damage to infrastructure and civilian areas. In Krasnodar, debris from a drone hit a private children's center, resulting in the deaths of two children and injuring seven others.

Logistics company Ozon has also been targeted. A major fire broke out at an Ozon logistics center in Krasnodar following a drone strike, and other facilities in Makhachkala and warehouses in Adygeysk and Nevinnomyssk were affected. While some employees were evacuated and others sustained minor injuries, operations at several sites have been temporarily suspended.

In a separate political development, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that holding elections during the ongoing full-scale war poses severe risks to national stability and could lead to societal fragmentation. He noted that while he is open to discussing safe and legitimate voting conditions with Western partners, no such specific proposals have been made. Zelenskyy emphasized that his current priority remains ending the war and preserving Ukrainian sovereignty.
