Syunik Province implements infrastructure and social development projects
Infrastructure and social development projects are underway across the Syunik Province in Armenia. In Sisyan, officials are monitoring various subvention and urgent programs aimed at improving local living standards. These include the renovation of a 1.3 km road leading to the newly constructed school in Ishkhanasar, funded by 172 million AMD from the state budget, and the renovation of Sisyan Kindergarten No. 4 with 139.8 million AMD. Additionally, several street and courtyard capital repairs in Sisyan city have been completed through government-community co-investment programs.
In Kajaran, the city celebrated its 68th anniversary with the opening of a new preschool educational institution, the Kajaran No. 1 Kindergarten. The facility, designed for 120 children, was built in a repurposed building through a co-investment project involving the Armenian government, the local community, and the Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine. The total construction cost was 544 million AMD, with 80 percent provided by the state budget.
