Szczecin development projects focus on greenery and modernization
Several infrastructure and development projects in Szczecin are focusing on expanding green spaces and modernizing facilities.
The PAZIM complex courtyard is undergoing a comprehensive modernization scheduled for completion in early 2027. The project includes approximately 3,430 m² of new surfacing, the planting of 1,400 new plants, and the installation of 41 new lighting points. The renovation will also feature a redesigned parking layout with 10 electric vehicle charging stations and new seating areas to transform the space into a communal area for employees, tenants, and residents.
Separately, the first stage of the WestSide Szczecin NXT warehouse and service complex has been completed by developer LemonTree and contractor Goldbeck. To support local biodiversity, a micro-forest was planted at the site using the Miyawaki method. This technique involves dense planting of native trees and shrubs to create a multi-layered forest ecosystem in a small area. The total investment covers nearly 40,000 m² of area in the southwestern part of the city.
