Szczecin tests new MAN electric bus

Szczecińskie Przedsiębiorstwo Autobusowe Dąbie has begun testing a new MAN Lion’s City 12 electric bus in Szczecin. The testing period is scheduled to run until September 12, during which the vehicle will operate on several regular lines, including routes 54, 56, 65, 66, 72, 73, 77, 79, 84, 93, 94, and 96.

The 12-meter, low-floor bus features a 445 kWh battery with an estimated range of approximately 320 kilometers. It is designed to accommodate 76 passengers, consisting of 30 seated and 46 standing. The trials aim to evaluate the vehicle's performance in real-world urban conditions, specifically regarding energy consumption and daily operational suitability. This test does not currently indicate a commitment to purchasing additional electric units from the manufacturer.
