Szczecin traffic restrictions for maritime university inauguration

Traffic restrictions will be implemented in the Wały Chrobrego area in Szczecin on Friday, October 2, and Saturday, October 3, due to the inauguration of the 2026/2027 academic year at Gdynia Maritime University.

On Friday afternoon, construction of a grandstand will begin near the Contemporary Theatre. On Saturday, October 3, from 00:01 to 18:00, several streets including Wały Chrobrego, Wawelska, Zygmunta Starego, Szczerbcowa, and Jarowita will be closed to traffic. While public transport will continue to operate according to regular schedules, passengers should expect increased pedestrian traffic near the event area.
