Szczecin Young Talent Festival receives nearly 300 applications

The 19th Young Talent Festival – New Energy 2026 in Szczecin has received nearly 300 applications from soloists and bands. The recruitment process involved over 900 musicians submitting approximately 700 tracks representing about 90 different locations.

Participants originate from across Poland, with the highest number of entries coming from Warsaw, alongside significant representation from Poznań, Wrocław, Szczecin, Kraków, Łódź, Gdynia, and Lublin. One project from Berlin was also submitted. The musical submissions span a wide range of genres, including rock, pop, alternative, indie, electronic, punk, hip-hop, rap, soul, R&B, metal, jazz, and folk.

A jury will select the best performers to present their work live at the Dom Kultury Słowianin.
