Szczecin’s historic Stara Olejarnia converted into major hotel as sales surge

The former oil mill complex Stara Olejarnia in Szczecin is being transformed into a large‑scale hotel by Grupa Arche. The redevelopment, costing roughly 70 million zł, will create a 195‑room hotel with extensive conference facilities, cultural spaces, a spa, restaurant, bowling alley and a music club in the historic cellars. Within just a few weeks of launching an off‑market sales campaign, about half of the available units were purchased, indicating strong local demand.

The project, which began after the property was acquired in 2023, aims to preserve the building’s 19th‑century industrial character while introducing modern amenities. Completion and opening are scheduled for the end of 2027, making it one of the biggest hotels in the city and a new landmark for business and events in the region.
