Szeged-Csanád Grosics Akadémia to host Kecskeméti TE amid stadium renovations

Szeged-Csanád Grosics Akadémia is set to host Kecskeméti TE in the 8th round of the Merkantil Bank Liga. The match, scheduled for Saturday at 19:00, serves as the official inauguration of the renovated sunny side stand at Széktói Stadion.

The renovation project included the construction of a new roof structure, updated service units, two new buffets at the spectator level, new sanitary facilities, and updated changing rooms and storage for youth teams. The stand was officially handed over on Wednesday.

Szeged-Csanád enters the match following a 4-0 victory against Iváncsa KSE in the MOL Magyar Kupa. Head coach Laczkó Zsolt emphasized the need for aggressive, disciplined, and brave play to compete against Kecskemét, who currently sit third in the league standings with four wins, two draws, and one loss.
