Szeged hosts Bor tér wine and gastronomy festival

The Bor tér gastronomic festival is set to take place in Szeged, featuring more than 120 wine producers from major wine regions across the country. The five-day event, which serves as the closing ceremony of the city's festival season, will be held at Dóm tér and the adjacent Aradi vértanúk tere.

In addition to a wide selection of wines and fresh autumn vintages, the festival will include artisanal gastronomy exhibitors, pálinka houses, and catering services. The event features live music, including performances by artists such as Andrea Szulák and Reni Tolvai. To reduce environmental impact, organizers have continued the practice of banning plastic cups, offering branded and reusable alternatives instead.

The festival draws on a long local tradition of wine exhibitions in Szeged, dating back to 1876. Admission to the event is free.
