Szemrevaló Film Festival focuses on women's stories

The 15th Szemrevaló Film Festival is set to showcase ten recent German-language films in Budapest. The program features a strong focus on female perspectives, with seven of the ten films centering on women's lives and four directed by women.

Featured works include ‘Apaföld et’ starring Sandra Hüller, and ‘Esti műszak’ featuring Leonie Benescht, who recently won a Bavarian Film Award. Other notable screenings include ‘Karla’, starring Elise Krieps, and ‘Ön hisz az angyalokban?’, starring Luna Wedler. The festival will take place at the Művész mozi and Toldi mozi, including audience meet-and-greets and professional discussions.
