Szentendre completes Patak Street renovation

The 110‑metre section of Patak Street between Liliom Street and the stream was finished on June 10, when city officials inspected the work. The renovation added a new asphalt surface, modernized the rain‑water drainage system, cleared and refurbished an existing open concrete arch, installed new curbs, and reinforced the concrete pavement at vehicle and pedestrian entrances. Additional improvements included a marble sidewalk and a paved area around a drinking‑fountain at the street end. The project, carried out by Pilis‑2003 Kft., cost about 15.9 million Hungarian forints and was funded from the 2024 district‑budget programme.

The site visit was attended by Mayor Zsolt Fülöp, Deputy Mayor Judit Magyar and other local representatives, who noted the upgrades address long‑standing community requests for better traffic safety and drainage.
