Szentendre hosts fifty AKG students for community service
Fifty students from the Alternatív Közgazdasági Gimnázium (AKG) recently completed community service in Szentendre. Following a successful collaboration last year, the students engaged in various voluntary tasks including environmental programs, social services, and maintenance work at local kindergartens.
Coordinated by the municipality’s Environmental and Community Participation Office, the students worked alongside organizations such as the Zöldendre Association and the WWF Hungary Foundation. Activities included gardening, renovating kindergarten yards, and participating in water conservation and nature protection initiatives.
