Sziget Festival hosts family‑focused Nulladik Day and grand closing concert in Budapest

Budapest's Sziget Festival marked its "Nulladik Day" by inviting festival‑goers to bring their children, creating a generational celebration that combined nostalgia with new memories. The day featured returns of iconic acts such as the British electronic group Faithless, trip‑hop pioneers Morcheeba, and Goran Bregović’s Wedding & Funeral Orchestra, alongside special shows on the Revolut Stage.

The festival’s closing concert took place on August 16, with founder Müller Péter Sziámi performing his 75th‑birthday celebration concert, Müller Péter Sziámi & the Guests. The lineup included saxophonists, cellist Dezső Sándor, guitarist Vigyinszki Máté and a host of guest musicians, highlighting the festival’s enduring role in Hungary’s alternative music scene.
